Rafting descent is in Maipo River, starting the tour in San Alfonso, Cajón del Maipo. Each person is equipped with a wetsuit, life jacket and helmet. Once everybody is equipped, the leader guide gives the safety instructions, and we walk to the river where the rafts are waiting.
   From November to February (because of thawing) the Maipo River is rated Class 4, and Class 3 the rest of the year,in both instances beginners are welcome (no experience is necessary), as well as those who have experience.

   16 kilometers (10 miles) are travelled in this fun and exciting descent (1 hour approx.), going through beautifulstone canyons, sand beaches, large rocks, cultivated land and more.
